As Warrington’s premier destination for German kitchens, JD Kitchens is proud to showcase the latest in innovative kitchen design from next125. Featuring a range of contemporary designs combining technology, craftsmanship and state-of-the-art industrial production, next125 focus upon sustainability and ethical manufacture, resulting in long-lasting kitchens which are not only environmentally friendly but provide great value.
Popular this season is the NX 950 model. Available in a range of high-quality materials and colours designed to suit any space, the cubic Bauhaus design is modest and minimalist yet commands a room thanks to a large central island. Whilst it is the bold design features which initially draw attention, it is the finer details of this particular German kitchen which stand out.
The absence of handles makes surfaces sleek, not only adding to the overall aesthetic of the kitchen, but also making it more practical, making faults less likely and reducing the likelihood of catching on the units. Perhaps the most interesting potential feature however, are the next125 wall-mounted cubes, inspired by the work of professional chefs to save space. This makes work in the kitchen considerably easier by reducing the amount of clutter on the worktop and keeping everything on hand, from knives to pots of fresh herbs. Although practicality and efficiency are at the forefront of the cube’s design, they are built to look as beautiful as the rest of next125’s collection. They are available in onyx black or stainless steel aluminium, with integrated lighting to brighten up your kitchen, as well as keep plants fresh.
Despite the ongoing situations surrounding both JD Kitchens and the German kitchen industry, next125’s next collection is scheduled to launch in January 2021, with an array of eye-catching and innovative designs. One of the key highlights of the upcoming series is bound to be the NX 510. The key component of this particular installation is a floating island, available in a multitude of colours and coated with transparent matt lacquer, providing a smooth finish and protecting the materials below to ensure the kitchen lasts.
The utilisation of a single island is ideal for those looking for an open plan kitchen with plenty of room to move around in. This minimalist aesthetic can be further enhanced with a tall unit and retractable doors, concealing the remaining appliances and storage. This creates a flexible space which can be used for multiple purposes beyond a kitchen, as well as contributing an eye-catching architectural piece to elevate any room.
